The start of in-person lectures in summer semester 2020 is postponed to 20.04.2020 at all study centres of the university for full-time programmes. With this we follow a recommendation of the Berlin Senate Chancellery for Science and Research.
Please note that it is likely that, from 06.04.2020 (the actual start of the lecture period), events can take place online.
We will inform you about the planning as soon as possible.
For all part-time and training-integrated programmes: in-person events at the planned in-person weekends at all study centres will not take place up to 19.04.2020.
We are examining whether it is possible to hold the planned events online on the weekend and/or online semester-accompanying etc. Please keep the weekend free and prepare as planned.
We will inform you about our planning as soon as possible.
We assume that examination conduct is not endangered.
Written assignments can be submitted electronically as PDFs via Moodle from Monday 16.03.2020 to 19.04.2020. We are currently still creating the technical possibilities in all courses for this. Lecturers will also be informed of this change at the same time. Please be patient for a few more days.
Unfortunately, the graduation ceremonies planned for 07.05.2020 in Berlin and elsewhere must be postponed. New dates will be announced in good time.
We must assume that the situation may change daily. We therefore ask you to regularly check your IB Hochschule email address and wait until we have precise plans.
