Last Friday, participants of the eagerly awaited Digital Health continuing education at IB Hochschule für Gesundheit und Soziales experienced an informative and inspiring day. The event offered a varied programme with insights into current trends and challenges of digitalisation in healthcare.
Dr. Winfried Graf opened the day with an interesting talk on current trends of digitalisation in hospitals and the associated IT challenges. Prof. Dr. Philipp Lacour, programme director of the Digital Health programmes, deepened understanding with exciting insights into Digital Diagnostics, Digital Therapy, AI, Robotics and Telemedicine.
Johannes Martin, Deputy Managing Director of the Smart Living & Health Center e. V., presented the latest technological developments in the area of smart technologies in the healthcare industry. The conclusion was a fascinating insight into the ukb Brain Cloud 1.0, the digital therapy room at Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin, presented by Prof. Dr. Ingo Schmehl.
The event clearly showed that IB Hochschule's move next to Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin on the Gesundheitscampus was a trailblazing decision. The results are already visible, particularly through the introduction of the Digital Health programmes at Bachelor's and Master's level.
Innovative technologies and the latest developments in the healthcare industry were brought closer to participants, and the future promises exciting opportunities. The successful continuing education also underlines the relevance of the Digital Health programmes at IB Hochschule and encourages interested parties to embrace these future-oriented programmes.
