On February 11, 2025, the Medical Academy Hamburg (MAH) opened its doors, offering comprehensive information about training programs in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Physiotherapy from 4 to 6 PM. Visitors could get to know the training facility, exchange ideas with dedicated lecturers, and experience the diverse teaching methods first-hand.
Together with HIU, visitors could also learn about the part-time degree program in Applied Therapy Sciences. The close integration of theoretical training and practical application, which opens excellent career opportunities in healthcare professions, was particularly highlighted.
As a cooperating partner in Hamburg, we were able to welcome numerous "students of tomorrow." Dean of Studies Prof. Dr. Silke Brenne and Study Coordinator Jan-Christoph Thiele were available to answer questions and provide personal insights into university life.
The cooperation between MAH and HIU offers an optimal combination of practice-oriented training and academic development. The numerous visitors demonstrated the strong interest in the diverse opportunities in healthcare professions.
