On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (ukb) opened its doors for Training Day, offering numerous visitors the opportunity to learn about the many training and study options in healthcare.
All ukb training programs and additional educational institutions on the Health Campus were represented with booths. HIU also presented its degree programs together with the student advisory service.
There was lively activity with many visitors, engaging conversations, and interactive demonstrations. Visitors could learn about training in nursing, hygiene, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, as well as anesthesia and surgical technical assistance. The option of a Voluntary Social Year was also presented. A CV check and tours of the rehabilitation clinic and radiology department rounded out the program.
Particularly encouraging was the strong interest from numerous school classes using the day to explore their career options. The Training Day provided not only comprehensive insights into various career and study paths but also served as a valuable platform for exchange and networking among all Health Campus stakeholders.
