On Wednesday 26 February 2025, Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (ukb) opened its doors for the Day of Vocational Training and gave numerous interested people the opportunity to find out about the many training and study possibilities in healthcare.
All training courses of ukb as well as other educational institutions on the Health Campus were represented with stands. IB Hochschule für Gesundheit und Soziales also presented its programmes together with the study advisory service.
There was lively activity and many visitors came on this day, with exciting conversations and interactive activities. Visitors could inform themselves among other things about training in nursing, hygiene, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, as well as anaesthesia technical assistance and surgical technical assistance. Additionally, the possibilities of a Voluntary Social Year were presented. A CV check and tours through the rehabilitation clinic and radiology rounded off the programme.
Particularly pleasing was the great interest of numerous school classes who used the day to find out about their career prospects. Besides ukb and the Medical Academy with the Nursing School and Occupational Health Management, Eprotec with orthopaedic technology, Care Compass and IB Hochschule with programmes such as Applied Therapy Science, Psychology, Digital Health and Health Education were also represented.
The Day of Vocational Training not only offered comprehensive insights into various career and study paths, but also served as a valuable platform for exchange and networking of all actors on the Health Campus.
