Huge interest, lively conversations, and a spirited exchange: Training Day 2026 at ukb was extremely well attended. Numerous school students, parents, and other interested visitors took the opportunity to learn about career prospects in healthcare first-hand.
The focus was on practical training professions in day-to-day clinical work. At various interactive and information stands, visitors gained insights into training as a Surgical Technical Assistant (OTA) or Anesthesia Technical Assistant (ATA). Trainees and practice supervisors explained their roles and answered questions about applications, daily routines, and career opportunities.
District Mayor Nadja Zivkovic also visited Training Day and took a tour to learn about the diverse training and study options at ukb.
Alongside the training pathways, HIU also presented its degree programs in Psychology, Digital Health, and Health Education.
It was particularly fascinating to see the many different disciplines side by side. At the same time, it became clear that hospital care only works when all areas mesh together like clockwork and collaborate closely.
We are already looking forward to the next event: the first Health Day at ukb will follow in May.
