Successful study start: Bachelor and Master Digital Health start at IB Hochschule!

Finally the time had come. The first two cohorts of the new Digital Health Bachelor and Master programmes started in Berlin on the Health Campus at Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (ukb). Last Monday and Wednesday respectively, the Bachelor Digital Health and Master Digital Health were ceremonially opened at IB Hochschule für Gesundheit und Soziales. We are extraordinarily pleased about the great response and wish all new students a successful course of their studies!

The beginning of a programme is always an exciting moment. At IB Hochschule, we are very pleased to be able to offer our students a high-quality programme with advanced digital infrastructure through the cooperation with ukb. Our students' decision in favour of these two programmes shows a growing demand for digitally competent professionals in healthcare and the interest in actively shaping digital transformation.

From the beginning, important topic complexes of digitalisation were discussed in an interdisciplinary way. Students brought their views on digital diagnostics, therapy, robotics, virtual reality and artificial intelligence as well as on aspects of data protection in digital medicine. They learned not only from the lecturers but also from each other. Exactly this lies the quality feature of the programmes. Different specialties from healthcare meet, exchange knowledge and develop innovative solution approaches together in an interdisciplinary language.
