On 10 May an in-person information day was held in the Pathology lecture hall at Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (ukb), where prospective students could learn about the two programmes Digital Health Bachelor and Master. The event was led by Prof. Schmehl and Prof. Lacour, who gave guests an insight into the content of the programmes.
In the Bachelor's programme in Digital Health, students acquire fundamental knowledge in digital technologies, medicine and data protection. The focus is on the application of digital technologies in healthcare. Students engage with topics such as telemedicine, eHealth and human-technology interaction in medicine. After successfully completing their studies, graduates have numerous career opportunities in the healthcare industry.
In the Master Digital Health, students gain advanced knowledge in digital healthcare, artificial intelligence and digital transformation in healthcare. The Master's programme is aimed in particular at students who already have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, medicine or another relevant subject.
Overall, the information day at Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (ukb) was a successful event that gave guests a comprehensive insight into the two programmes Digital Health Bachelor and Master. The presence of Prof. Schmehl and Prof. Lacour, as experts in this field, made it a valuable exchange. The next info day at ukb is already being planned and will take place on 22 June 2023.
