On May 12, 2025, the event "Nursing Innovations in Dialogue: Solutions for a Good Future of Care" took place at the Smart Living and Health Center on the Health Campus at ukb. The networking meeting aimed to present innovative concepts in nursing and foster dialogue between startups, experts, and practitioners.
Various startups had the opportunity to present their concepts in 5-minute pitches, including Media4Care, G.U.T. Brandenburg, VIVAICare, Empident, Zenaris, and many other providers of digital solutions. The goal was to showcase innovations and receive direct feedback from practitioners.
Dr. Albert Kern from the Federal Ministry of Health delivered a keynote on "Into the Future of Nursing – But How?", emphasizing the necessity of innovations that address the challenges of an aging society.
The event was an excellent opportunity for exchanging ideas and networking, demonstrating how important the dialogue between developers and users is. Julia Backhaus from Digital Care Solutions moderated the day, and the event was organized by Karen Janda and Johannes Martin from the Smart Living and Health Center.
