The Master Digital Health on the home straight

First Master Digital Health cohort

The first cohort of the Master Digital Health programme at IB Hochschule für Gesundheit und Soziales has recently successfully completed its last in-person event. For the students, only the last big step now lies ahead: writing their Master's thesis. With this, an intensive study period ends for the group, characterised by practice-oriented teaching content, exciting projects and close exchange with experts from science and practice.

At the centre of the Digital Health programme are the chances and challenges of digitalisation in healthcare – from artificial intelligence through digital diagnostics to questions of ethics and data security. Over the past semesters, the students have not only acquired theoretical knowledge, but also directly applied this in projects and case studies.

Prof. Dr. Winfried Graf, lecturer in the Digital Health programme, emphasises: "Our first Master students have impressively shown how much potential lies in linking medical knowledge and digital innovation. They are well prepared to actively shape the future of healthcare."

With their upcoming Master's theses, the graduates will now put the final mark on their studies – and at the same time the start of exciting career paths in the growing field of digitalisation in healthcare.
