The first cohort of the Master's in Digital Health at HIU has recently completed its final in-person session. For the students, only one major step remains: writing their Master's thesis. This marks the end of an intensive study period characterized by practice-oriented content, exciting projects, and close exchange with experts from science and practice.
At the heart of the Digital Health program are the opportunities and challenges of digitalization in healthcare – from artificial intelligence to digital diagnostics to questions of ethics and data security. Over the past semesters, students have not only acquired theoretical knowledge but also applied it directly in projects and case studies.
Prof. Dr. Winfried Graf, lecturer in the Digital Health program, notes: "Our first Master's students have impressively demonstrated how much potential lies in combining medical knowledge with digital innovation. They are well prepared to actively shape the future of healthcare."
With their upcoming Master's theses, the graduates are now putting the finishing touches on their studies – and simultaneously launching exciting career paths in the growing field of healthcare digitalization.
