On September 4th, IB University officially kicked off its International Office with a visit from Prof. Dr. Dolores Sanchez Bengoa and Muge Akgedik Akoglanoglu – two experienced experts who will shape the international student experience at our university.
Starting in the summer semester 2026, the first international students will arrive at IB University – moving directly into our brand-new House 2 on the Health Campus. Surrounded by green spaces and modern facilities, this will be their home away from home.
The International Office is the go-to place for international students. It's not just an advice centre – it's a place of welcome, guidance and community.
Prof. Dr. Dolores Sanchez Bengoa and Muge Akgedik Akoglanoglu bring many years of international experience from Hochschule der Wirtschaft für Management (HdWM) Mannheim. Their goal: to make sure no student feels "lost" in their new country.
With the launch of international degree programmes in Digital Health (State Accreditation In Progress) and Health Care Education and Educational Management (State Accreditation In Progress), the International Office will soon be fully up and running. Until then, preparations are in full swing – from student handbooks to support services. The countdown has begun – and we can't wait to say: Welcome to Germany. Welcome to IB University.
