We congratulate Prof. Dr. Ingo Schmehl on his appointment as full professor of Digital Health – Medicine. At the ceremonial handover of the appointment certificate, Prof. Dr. Axel Ekkernkamp, Medical Director of Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin, also extended his congratulations.
As winner of the KlinikAward 2022 in the "Digital Innovation" category for the first digital therapy room – ukb Brain Cloud 1.0 – as well as initiator of various telemedicine projects at Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (ukb), Prof. Schmehl will enormously enrich the new part-time Digital Health programmes (Bachelor and Master) in the IB Hochschule portfolio in teaching, continuing education and research.
