Since November 2021, Dr. Swantje Goebel has been part of the team of IB Hochschule für Gesundheit und Soziales, Faculty of Health and Social Sciences. She has now officially been appointed Professor. The sociologist represents the teaching area of Health Education / Health Sciences / Public Health. On behalf of IB Hochschule we warmly congratulate and look forward to great cooperation!
Sociologist Swantje Goebel has been researching, lecturing and teaching health-related topics for more than 15 years, in particular on hospice work and palliative care. Since November 2021 she has been working with a 50% professorship at the Berlin Study Centre for the Health Education programme (B.A. & M.A.). In addition, Ms Goebel is part of the academy team of the Hospice Association Bergstraße e.V./South Hesse. Besides teaching, she is responsible there for the conceptual and didactic further development of educational work. Ms Goebel is also active on the board of the German Society for Patient Dignity (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Patientenwürde e.V.).
