From September 8 to 12, 2025, the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (ukb) once again hosted its Health Week – a great success with diverse offerings for staff across the entire Health Campus.
The program featured a well-rounded mix of keynote talks, interactive activities, and health screenings. From stress management to men's and women's health to topics such as menopause, prevention, and resilience, participants received valuable input for their personal wellbeing. Interactive formats like the relaxation escape room, fitness and body analyses, and stress measurements rounded out the offerings.
A particular highlight was once again the closing event "ukb runs": numerous employees went running, walking, or strolling along the course, collectively logging laps for charity. This year's proceeds support a residential group in Petershagen run by the Children and Youth Welfare Association Berlin-Brandenburg (KJHV-BB). Some participants even spontaneously ran a half marathon. The relay race added extra team spirit and excitement.
HIU was also represented – it was great fun, and we hope to enter a team relay next time. Our thanks also go to the fantastic organizers.
Health Week impressively demonstrated how important it is to actively integrate health promotion and prevention into working life. The positive feedback from participants confirms: the week was a complete success – and has everyone looking forward to next year.
