Career perspectives after the Master
Graduates of the Master Psychology programme have various career fields open to them, where they can work psychologically and in interdisciplinary teams, both inpatient in clinics and outpatient. Tasks include for example diagnostics of disorders of mental experience and behaviour. Counselling of those affected and/or their reference persons also belongs to it. But the field for Master Psychology graduates is even larger: in health psychology, gerontopsychology, school psychology, traffic psychology and economic psychology they are sought-after professionals. They work as police psychologists, legal psychologists or environmental psychologists.
Requirements for the programme
The Master programme is aimed at those interested with a basic scientific Psychology degree in which 210 ECTS points have been acquired. Missing ECTS can be made up in a Propaedeutic programme before the start of studies, so a side entrance from related subject areas is possible under certain conditions.
