Visit of Prof. Dr. Thomas Druyen for the start of the cooperation between IB Hochschule and the opta data ZukunftsStiftung

On 15 and 16 January, IB Hochschule für Gesundheit und Soziales welcomed Prof. Dr. Thomas Druyen, President and Managing Director of the opta data ZukunftsStiftung, for a special visit. As part of the kick-off of their new cooperation, Prof. Dr. Druyen had the opportunity to get to know the IB Hochschule team over a joint lunch and brainstorm together about the future direction of the collaboration.
One of the thematic focal points of the visit was the exchange with the entire Digital Health team and Marcus Beck, Managing Director of e.health.Business as a representative of practice. Together, the personnel situation in clinics was examined, alongside the need to qualify staff to operate digital tools and devices such as surgical robots.
The opta data ZukunftsStiftung is engaged in a wide variety of areas to advance innovations and support trailblazing projects. Its cooperation with IB Hochschule aims to strengthen the standing of the system-relevant academic healthcare professions and to advance digitalisation in this sector.
The planned kick-off event of this promising cooperation will take place on 14 February at the BG Klinikum Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (ukb) and will be accessible both in person and digitally. The event offers the opportunity to learn about the new practice-oriented Digital Health programmes (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) developed in cooperation with ukb.
Interested parties have the chance to register free of charge for the kick-off event until 13 February 2024 at marketing@hi-university.de.
