Visit to the rescue helicopter on the landing pad of Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (ukb)

On the sidelines of the strategy meeting of Internationaler Bund (IB), IB Hochschule für Gesundheit und Soziales with ukb, Daniel Neumann, Authorised Representative of the Board, and Prof. Dr. Mariam Hartinger, President of IB Hochschule, got an insight into the special features of the rescue helicopter, the flying intensive-care unit.

From ukb's side, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ekkernkamp and Dr. Schmidt-Traub, the departments of nursing, neurology, neuropsychology, surgery and emergency services presented their needs for academic education. In cooperation between IB Hochschule and the clinic, first needs have already been addressed: the part-time programmes Digital Health as a Bachelor and a continuing-education Master.
