Current information on the study operations of IB Hochschule for winter semester 2020/2021

Current information winter semester 2020/2021

The winter semester will start on 01.10.2020 and IB Hochschule is planning a combination of digital teaching and in-person operations. As far as this is possible and permitted, we want to cautiously return to normality for all programmes and offer in-person events. We especially want to give students in the first semesters a good start to their studies.

The current plans of IB Hochschule are based on the recommendations of the Berlin Senate Chancellery – changes are therefore reserved.

All lectures will, as before, be held mainly online. However, we are also planning in-person events, provided the applicable corona regulations can be observed – especially for the practice modules of the PQS programmes. All students can find out about this in good time on the Moodle platform. If anything is unclear, you can also speak to your lecturer.

The university leadership and administration have worked at high pressure in recent weeks and months to create a digital basis to enable digital teaching and learning. Since summer semester 2020, the university has been working with Microsoft Teams – the first experiences from both lecturers and students are entirely positive. IB Hochschule will therefore continue to work with Microsoft Teams.

Prospective students and current students can contact the central student advisory service with questions about studies and organisational matters. Especially for prospective students, in addition to our existing information dates we also have a student-led advisory service. Bookings can be made here.

If you have questions about your studies and corona, you can write to corona@hi-university.de. We will inform you in good time about all current changes here and via email.
