On the evening of March 14, 2025, a festive scene unfolded at HIU. Beaming faces could be seen everywhere as graduates of the Bachelor's and Master's programs received their certificates. Students of Health Education, Applied Therapy Sciences, and Psychology celebrated together their successful completion and the beginning of a new chapter.
The university leadership, represented by Prof. Dr. Mariam Hartinger and Prof. Dr. Markus Dormann, extended warm congratulations. Prof. Dr. Silke Brenne, Dean of Studies at the Berlin campus, and Prof. Dr. Gudrun Zimmermann, Head of Applied Therapy Sciences, were also present to wish the graduates well.
A special moment was the ceremonial address by Prof. Dr. Gudrun Zimmermann: "We are very proud of all our graduates, including those who unfortunately couldn't celebrate with us on Friday. Thank you for learning and teaching together and for the valuable time shared on the way to your academic degree. We wish you continued curiosity, professional satisfaction, happiness, and success."
After the official program, guests wound down the evening with sparkling wine and live music. The mood was relaxed, and toasts were raised to the challenges overcome together. A degree means not only intensive work but also solidarity and mutual support – values that are especially lived at HIU.
With their diploma in hand, a new chapter begins for the graduates. HIU sincerely thanks all students for their trust and wishes them all the best for their personal and professional futures!
