Prof. Wolfgang Schäberle

Wolfgang Schäberle first trained as a state-certified physiotherapist and then studied Health Sciences (B. Sc.) at IB Hochschule, followed by a Master of Education (M. Ed.). He earned his doctorate on "Sense of coherence, psychological strain, and closeness and distance in individual physiotherapy treatment".

His clinical work took him to leading roles at various health institutions including hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, and private practices. Alongside this clinical work, he has worked in vocational training, continuing education, and university teaching since 1994. Most recently he was a full-time visiting professor at SRH University, Faculty of Therapy Sciences, in Heidelberg. Since 2018 he has been Dean of Studies at IB Hochschule, Stuttgart study centre. He was appointed full professor in the same year.
