Prof. Dr. med. Dr. iur. Thomas Ufer

Thomas Ufer studied Medicine and Law in Cologne. After several years of medical practice, he has worked exclusively in medical law since starting his legal career. His work focuses on advising and representing outpatient and inpatient providers, with particular attention to cooperation models across sectors.

As Professor of Law and Ethics in the Health Sciences at IB Hochschule, Dr. Ufer teaches on the Health Care Education and Applied Therapy Sciences degree programmes (occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy).
