Prof. Dr. Tajana Grießmann-Gehrt

After completing her degree in Psychology at the University of Potsdam, Tajana Grießmann-Gehrt earned her PhD at the University of Magdeburg. She has taught psychology at the University of Potsdam and the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Berlin (Evangelische Hochschule Berlin).

From 2011 to 2019, she worked as a Systemic Individual, Couples, and Family Therapist in private practice in Brussels. Parallel to this, she also worked as a school psychologist at the International German School Brussels and subsequently at a school in Berlin.

In September 2020, Tajana Grießmann-Gehrt joined Health Innovation University as a Professor of Applied Psychology.

Her teaching and research focus on Clinical Psychology, Psychological Counseling, and Social Psychology. The center of her academic work is the investigation of the interplay between individual, interactional, and sociocultural factors that influence psychological well-being and health, with a particular emphasis on women's mental health. Her research addresses relationship dynamics, specifically loneliness, as well as the psychological and social consequences of violence.

Tajana Grießmann-Gehrt serves as the primary contact person for the "Psychosocial Interactions" research cluster.
