About
Prof. Dr. rer. medic. Sabine Arnold is a psychologist and licensed child and adolescent psychotherapist. She studied Psychology at the Universities of Trier and Konstanz and spent a research stay at the University of California, Davis. She earned her doctorate at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and completed her postgraduate training as a child and adolescent psychotherapist at the Centre for Mental Health at Freie Universität Berlin. After many years of research, teaching, and clinical work at Charité, she has carried out studies on eating disorders, non-suicidal self-injury, and suicidality in adolescence. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and has informed psychotherapeutic practice. At her therapy practice in Berlin Friedenau, she specialises in treating anorexia in adolescents. Her additional training includes certified nutritional counselling for children and adolescents, couples therapy, relaxation training, mindfulness therapy, and yoga.
