Prof. Dr. Jin Yamamura

Prof. Dr. med. Jin Yamamura has been General Manager, Care Area & Digital Solutions, International at GE HealthCare since December 2024. In this role he is responsible for the business strategy for the Care Area and Digital Solutions segment in the international region. He leads market development, including the rollout of downstream portfolio management across all care areas and digital solutions for the international region.

With more than 100 publications and over 500 scientific talks, Jin has wide-ranging experience in radiology, research, digitalisation, and healthcare innovation. His career spans two decades and includes senior positions at well-known institutions in Europe and Asia. He is also a member of the German Radiological Society and several international associations that work to advance radiology and bring it closer to patients.

Before joining GE HealthCare, he was Director and Chief Physician of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the Immanuel Clinics Rüdersdorf-Berlin, affiliated with the Brandenburg Medical School. In that role he built up a modern, fully digital radiology department. He is also a Professor of Radiology at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), and was a visiting professor and researcher in diagnostic radiology at Osaka University Hospital in Japan.
