Prof. Dr. iur. Alexandra Jorzig

Alexandra Jorzig studied Law at Ruhr University Bochum and earned her doctorate at the University of Leipzig. For more than 20 years she has worked as a lawyer and certified specialist in medical law. She advises and represents doctors, hospitals, and other medical service providers across Germany on all matters of medical and health law.

She has written numerous academic publications and, alongside her practice, has been teaching for several years in medical law and nursing sciences.

As Professor of Health and Social Law in the Health Sciences at IB Hochschule, Dr. Jorzig has taught since 1 October 2018 on the Health Care Education and Applied Therapy Sciences degree programmes (occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy).
