The Health Innovation University of Applied Sciences is the new name of the IB University of Applied Sciences for Health and Social Services. HIU is a private, state-recognized university based in Berlin with additional campuses in Hamburg, Munich, and Stuttgart. As part of the Global Education Network Group, new opportunities are opening up not only for students but also for staff, both nationally and internationally. We are a forward-looking university of applied sciences for health, where innovation, technology, and student-centered teaching combine with the long-standing quality of German academic education and genuine medical expertise.
Your Tasks
- •The international Master’s program in Nursing is scheduled to begin in the summer semester of 2027. To build a pool of instructors, HIU is offering teaching positions at its Berlin Study Center in the following areas of specialization:
- oAdvanced Nursing Practice
- oAdvanced Health Assessment and Clinical Reasoning
- oComplex Care Coordination and Transitional Care Management
- oAdvanced Health Assessment and Clinical Decision-Making
- oMental Health Nursing
- oGeriatric Nursing
- •The courses are taught in English in person at the university on the Health Campus at ukb Berlin.
Profile:
- •A completed college degree (at least a master's degree) in the relevant field
- •Enjoyment of teaching international student groups
- •Excellent English skills
- •Ideally, experience with simulations in teaching
