Health Innovation University of Applied Sciences is the new name of IB Hochschule für Gesundheit und Soziales. HIU is a private, state-recognized university based in Berlin, with additional study centers in Hamburg, Munich, and Stuttgart. Your Tasks
- •Responsibility for ongoing financial accounting (general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting)
- •Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)
- •Reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L accounts, as well as account clarification
- •Processing and monitoring of payment transactions and dunning procedures
- •Collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities
- •Support with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
Profile:
- •Successfully completed degree/training in Business Administration with a focus on Finance/Accounting, or a comparable commercial education with further qualification as a Certified Senior Accountant / Financial Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
- •Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
- •Sound knowledge of accounting standards according to HGB; knowledge of IFRS and Odoo is an advantage
- •High degree of reliability, integrity, and strong teamwork skills
- •Good command of written and spoken German and English
