Lecture series "Career Profiles" #1: Working as a clinical psychologist in forensic psychiatry

Psychology is a diverse discipline and offers numerous interesting opportunities to work in a wide variety of professional fields. This can be incredibly exciting and at the same time overwhelming for students. Especially first-year students often have no real idea of what concrete practical work might look like in the various professions.
We want to change that!
In our lecture series "Career Profiles", different psychology professional fields are to be presented each semester and students are to be given a feeling for what practice looks like beyond theory and study.
The first event takes place on Tuesday, 08.12.2020 at 6 p.m. via MS Teams and deals with the topic "Forensic Psychiatry – between improvement and safekeeping." Mr Steenbock works as a clinical psychologist at the Centre for Forensic Psychiatry in Lippstadt and will in particular address the following questions in his talk.
Participation is possible for all students of the Applied Psychology programme at the Berlin location.
