The Health Innovation University of Applied Sciences becomes the Health Innovation University of Applied Sciences (HIU).
With our new name, we are taking a decisive step towards the future: more internationality, more innovation, and an even stronger focus on the demands of global healthcare.
On 01.04.2026, several milestones mark this transformation:
Launch of our new brand identity including logo and website
Move into a new building on the Health Campus
Further development of our study portfolio with an international focus
Despite all the changes, our foundation remains the same: our degree programmes, our quality – and our guiding principle: "Seeing the human being."
The move into our new building also went smoothly and faster than planned. With great team spirit and dedication, the entire team pitched in – from the first box to the final setup. Today our new premises are fully equipped and offer a modern environment for teaching, exchange and innovation. We are ready and look forward to welcoming our first cohorts at the new location.
