IB University becomes Health Innovation University of Applied Sciences (HIU)
With our new name, we are taking a clear step toward the future: greater internationalization, stronger innovation, and an even sharper focus on the evolving challenges in healthcare.
As of April 1, 2026, several key milestones mark this transformation:
✔ Launch of our new brand identity, including logo and website ✔ Relocation to a new building on the healthcare campus in Berlin ✔ Expansion of our academic portfolio with internationally oriented study programs
While we are evolving, our foundation remains unchanged: our study programs, our academic quality, and our guiding principle: "See the human."
The relocation to our new building went smoothly and was completed ahead of schedule. Thanks to the strong team spirit and hands-on commitment of everyone involved, we managed every step—from packing the first box to setting up the final details—together. Our new facilities are now fully equipped, providing a modern environment for learning, collaboration, and innovation. We are ready and excited to welcome our first cohorts to the new campus.
