About the Seminar
Feedback is one of the most effective tools for promoting learning success. Well-delivered feedback clarifies what constitutes good performance, strengthens learners' self-assessment abilities, promotes motivation and self-worth, and stimulates dialogue between teachers and learners. While the focus has traditionally been on giving feedback 'correctly', more recent findings show that the majority of barriers in the feedback process lie on the learner's side. In this seminar, the role of teachers and their tasks in a learning-promoting feedback process will be discussed and reflected upon together with participants, drawing on theoretical insights and their own teaching and learning experience.
