Accounts Payable Accountant (m/f/d)

We're hiring at our Stuttgart administrative and service center, on the Finance & Accounting team. The role is full-time (39 hours/week), starting as soon as possible, and initially a two-year fixed-term contract with the prospect of a permanent position.

Your Tasks

  • Maintenance of master data for vendors and recurring postings
  • Review, coding and posting of supplier invoices, fixed-asset invoices, reverse-charge invoices, and recurring postings
  • Review and posting of petty cash transactions
  • Preparation of payment runs
  • Posting of bank statements
  • Responsibility for reviewing, recording and posting travel expenses of employees and external lecturers, using the MOSS system (for employees)
  • Support for accounts receivable accounting
  • Ownership of topic-based projects

Your Profile

  • Completed commercial vocational training or comparable qualification
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable
  • Confident use of Microsoft products (Office, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with accounting software (ODOO desirable)
  • Good job-related English skills
  • Confident, friendly demeanour
  • Structured, organised and independent way of working
  • Strong service orientation and reliability
  • Interest in the digitalisation of work processes
  • Experience within a non-profit organisational structure is a plus
